Nursery

The Nursery has been designed and staffed with the safety of your little ones in mind. Our helpers are trained to model the love of Jesus. Nursery is offered (0-2 years old) during worship at 10 am Sunday mornings.

Sonshine Kids

(Pre- school- 5^th grade)

After joining their families in Sunday morning worship, children ages 3 through 5th grade are gathered for age- appropriate hands on learning experiences in the study of God’s word. The goal of this hour is to help every child come to know Christ and to follow him wholeheartedly.






Good News Club (during school year)

Tuesdays 3:15 pm- 4: 30 pm

Good News Kidz Clubs meet once a week as a free after school club at local elementary schools providing character, education through Bible lessons, biographies, songs, object lessons and games. This group currently meets Tuesdays at Glenallen Elementary school.

Children & Youth

Ministering Hearts is the liturgical dance ministry here at Layhill Community Church. Young women are welcome to participate in this mentoring opportunity where they discover and experience firsthand how their body is God’s temple. Enhancing worship and serving in the community are just a few of the opportunities for the Ministering Hearts team. The team meets weekly for Bible Study, sharing and preparing their hearts, minds and bodies for ministry.
