Identity Theft Sermon Series
January 11, 18, 25; February 1, 2009
Posted January 4, 2009

The other day I was standing in line to pay for pizza. As I waited I had my wallet open when the man behind me said, “I can see your social security number, you better be careful.”

Today, people will actually dig through your garbage (dumpster divers) in order to steal your financial records; your identity. Paper shredder sales have increased, however there are so many ways that your identity can be stolen. I believe our identity in Jesus goes far deeper than any financial records, and as we follow Jesus into a new year a few questions need to be asked.

  • Who are we?
  • What is our true identity?
  • Is our identity being stolen right before our eyes?
  • Can we get our identity back?
  • Who does God say we are, and what will that look like in the year 2009?

Come listen to Pastor Rich bring this series to us on January 11, 18, 25 and February 1, 2009!
